Every day we are actors on the stage of life. Many never question their professional and personal roles. Many do not realize that the scripts they compliantly play, day by day, are authored by ingrained emotional dispositions, conditioned thoughts, self-imposed labels, and habitual reactions to external stimuli.
What does this have to do with leadership presence and public speaking?
Everything!
The type of communication and presence that propels careers and drives personal lives must not be limited to the mechanics of things: visual presence, gesticulation, diction, word choice, and creating and delivering a compelling message.
In part, distinguishing oneself encompasses a skilled capacity of influence, leadership, presence, and communication in critical conversations, meetings, presentations networking, and in relating to others. All those are important components of the work that Miranda F. Walichowski, Ph.D. and Rubén Olague, A.B.D., offer clients. Those are the types of deliverables that can be classified as external changes.
However, they know the value of surpassing an important, yet transitory need of a client. Miranda and Rubén, partner with clients who are ready to experience fundamental and perdurable changes that go beyond the one-time or short-term desire to improve a narrow facet of their lives.
What Miranda and Rubén offer is the opportunity for clients to experience bimodal transformation — an internal and external change. The catalyst for change is helping clients understand and reflect on the reality they have constructed in this sometimes capriciously banal world. They facilitate the opportunity for clients to take stock of their perceptions, beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that are restraining and constraining them. This allows clients to make fundamental changes that allow them to alter and create a life that simply lands authentically and deeply with them.
Bottomline: Each person is a message that the world needs to hear.
A person’s capacity to deliver a compelling and influential message is augmented when they are clear on the message — when they have done the work to be the message that only they can deliver. That is what the work is about!
When is the right time for an individual to put a stake in the ground and say it is time for change? When is the right time to pursue a refinement that leads to an individual’s excellence? A person is ready for change when they are ready to disrupt the natural course of time. A person is ready for change when they audaciously pause the passing of time, so that they can reinvent themselves.
When the time comes, Dr. Walichowski and Mr. Olague enthusatically partner with people who desire to rewrite or edit their personal and professional life scripts. They serve as reminders that clients should not place a period where an ellipses belongs. A life story is not yet finished, not if a person is willing to let go of the prepossesive idea of who they are. A life story is not yet finished when someone is serious about self-discovery and reinvention.
And yes, the outcome of working with Miranda and Rubén has the potential to be a very satisfying leadership and public speaking presence. But why stop there? Miranda and Rubén also want to hold space, so that individuals can finally meet the person whom they have yet to become.
