Building Leadership Capacity in Your Company & Organization With Self-Leadership

The video below describes the Energy Leadership programs offered at MiraNous Coaching and Consulting. The program aligns perfectly with the recommendations made by the most recent Gallup State of the Workplace Report 2017 for increasing employee engagement.

What is Energy Leadership?

Energy Leadership is the energy that we show-up with in our professional and personal lives. As individuals, we view the world through filters (based on our experiences, values, assumptions, etc.). Those filters will either limit what we see (like tunnel vision) or expand what we see (like a prism) and, thus, impact how we perceive and what we think about our circumstances. This, in turn, impacts how we show up in different situations.

The Energy Leadership Index assessment reveals what specific filters you’ve developed and how those filters are influencing the results you’re achieving.

I hope you’re intrigued, if not by the assessment itself, but the concept that you’ve unconsciously developed filters throughout your whole life, which may be holding you back from seeing the full potential of yourself and what your life and career have to offer.

Hmmm…what could life look like if only_____________?

You get to fill in the blank and reshape your filters to go after it. Taking the plunge is up to you.

That is not all, the Energy Leadership Index includes a coaching program. This program will help you achieve what matters most to you and provide lasting results.

What Does the Research Say about Energy Leadership?

A recent dissertation, A Quantitative Approach to Measuring the Effectiveness of the Energy Leadership Coaching Model found a statistically significant difference, improvement,  in the leadership skills of Senior Managers who partook in the Energy Leadership Development coaching program (for 12-months). The senior managers from the control group, who did not participate in the program, actually had a decrease in leadership competency after one year.

What are the Program Options?

There are several options to leverage Energy Leadership in your organization. A conversation between us will help us do a needs assessment, so that we can ensure that we meet the needs of your organization and budget with the perfect program.

Program 1: Energy Leadership Training

The Energy Leadership Training is offered as a one, two, or three-day workshop. Participants will create a leadership development plan to serve as a guide for the next 12 months. Depending on the duration of the workshop and number of participants you can select from these segments:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Dynamic Communication
  • Influencing and Engaging Others
  • Problem Solving
  • Productivity and Decision Making
  • High Energy Relationships
  • Health and Wellness
  • Time Management and Balance

The workshop is delivered in a professional and enjoyable manner. Participants will be informed and inspired. The materials presented will be highly applicable, and we will ensure that the participants can immediately apply what they are learning in their customized leadership plan.

Program 2: Energy Leadership Assessment & Debrief

The Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.)  is a one-of-a-kind assessment that enables leaders to hold up mirrors to their perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and overall leadership capabilities. The assessment offers a baseline for current level of awareness, performance, and effectiveness. Leaders create their personalized developmental roadmap and make progress toward becoming an Ideal Leader.

The Energy Leadership Assessment and Debrief are offered several ways:

  • One-on-one Sessions: The participant takes the assessment online. Two-weeks later he or she has a 120 minute debrief session to review the results of the assessment and identify areas for improvement. The participant will leave with a customized plan for improving his or her leadership. (Delivery can be in-person or online).
  • Team Sessions: The participants take the assessment online. Two or more weeks after the assessment, the team is debriefed in a small or large group. The scores will remain confidential. The debrief will be to the group, and the individual participants will leave with a customized plan for how to improve their leadership. (Delivery for this program is in-person as a workshop).

Program 3: Energy Leadership Assessment & Leadership Coaching

The Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.) assessment has a complete, clear, customized coaching program associated with it. The coaching program is the Energy Leadership Development System (ELDS). This ELDS is made of an introduction and eight developmental segments.

The program is completely customized to each leader and offers a baseline for current level of awareness, performance, and effectiveness. Leaders create their personalized developmental roadmap and are coached to make effective and expedient progress toward becoming an Ideal Leader.

12 Program Segments

  • Program Orientation/Planning
  • Seven Levels of Leadership
  • Leadership Strengths and Gaps
  • Removing Barriers to Success
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Dynamic Communication
  • Influencing and Engaging Others
  • Problem Solving
  • Productivity and Decision Making
  • High Energy Relationships
  • Health and Wellness
  • Time Management and Balance

This ELDS coaching program can be delivered two ways:

  • Group Coaching: The team comes together for the program introduction and debrief. Then the participants receive group coaching around the Energy Leadership Development program. The group coaching sessions are in-person or on-line. Groups can be comprised of 3 to 10 members. Group coaching sessions are offered three to four times per month. Program duration is for 3-months, 6-months, or 12-months depending on the company’s goals.
  • Individual Coaching: The team is coached individually. Each participant receives a personal assessment and debrief. Then the participant receives 3-months, 6-months, or 12-months of individual coaching (averaging 2 or 3 sessions per month). The coaching sessions will cover the segments in the Energy Leadership Development System.
